Boarding at Wendover Place
Wendover Place offers full board only in the concrete block main barn. Horses are fed 2-3 times per day depending on their needs. There is no extra charge for a horse that requires a few pounds. We routinely feed Safechoice pellets and Senior feed but will accommodate you if something else is needed. We feed beautiful Orchard/Alfalfa hay. All horses are oiled on Mondays for any sand they may ingest. All horses are on electrolytes 2x daily throughout the year. Any vitamins or mineral supplements will be administered per request.
Stalls are cleaned at least once a day and are bed fresh and heavy.
Horses are turned out daily.
We hold the horse for the farrier, vet, chiropractor, and dentist as needed. We wrap, medicate, and worm. Of course, blanketing and unblanketting are included at no extra charge.
The wash rack has four stations and hot and cold running water.
There is a secure tack room and restroom complete with a shower. We have a Culligan Water cooler and a refrigerator for your carrots and lunch.
There are ten turn out paddocks, mostly dirt, but we have a 2 acre field in the front of the property for grazing your equine. The ring is dragged daily.
The full lighted main ring is a dirt clay mixture with all types of freshly painted jumps. The grass ring is also used and has a full set of gymnastics and a cross rail course.
Wendover is also equipped with a grass lunge pen.
There are two houses on the property with 24 hour security and night checks performed. At Wendover, the staff and management hope to make your horse’s stay a healthy and safe one putting your mind at ease regarding his/her care.
